A couple of weeks ago, I published my original mock draft. Now, the time has come for my final mock draft before round one gets started on Thursday night in Detroit.

  1. Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams, QB, USC:

Getting the obvious out of the way. Williams enters one of the better situations a number one pick has ever entered the NFL with. If he can live up to the hype, Chicago could compete for a playoff spot in 2024.

2. Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU:

ree

It seems Washington, and Daniels have settled their differences in the past few days. Based on the betting lines Daniels will be a Commander.

3. New England Patriots: Drake Maye, QB, UNC:

I don't buy the Patriots move out of this spot. Maye likely sits all of 2024, as the Pats are not an ideal spot for a rookie QB to suit up for next season. Nevertheless, New England gets their guy and preps Maye for 2025.

4. Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State:

ree

Arizona gets their next Kyler Murray his new WR1. Thus, forming one of the more dynamic duos in the NFC.

5. Minnesota Vikings (Via Projected Trade W Los Angeles Chargers): J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan:

ree

The Vikings make the deal! Harbaugh also sets up his national championship-winning QB for NFL success by sending him to a more than ideal landing spot.

6. New York Giants: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU:

ree

New York grabs a dynamic new weapon that they desperately need to jump-start their offence.

7. Tennessee Titans: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame:

ree

One of the most obvious picks in the draft. Alt helps protect Will Levis who is set up to succeed in 2024.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars (Via Projected Trade W Atlanta Falcons): Rome Odunze, WR, Washington:

ree

After losing Calvin Ridley, the Jags need a new go-to guy for Trevor Lawrence. Jacksonville gets ahead of Chicago to secure Odunze. After losing Calvin Ridley, the Jags need a new go-to guy for Trevor Lawrence. Jacksonville gets ahead of Chicago to secure Odunze.

9. Indianapolis Colts (Via Projected Trade W Chicago Bears): Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia:

ree

After losing out on Odunze, Chicago trades down as they currently only have four total picks in the draft. Indy comes up to get ahead of the New York Jets to secure Bowers.

10. New York Jets: Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State:

After missing out on Bowers and Odunze, the Jets do the smart thing and get protection up front for Aaron Rodgers.
