The Silcoff Selections: NFL Week 7 Predictions – Straight Up & Against the Spread Picks

The Silcoff Selections are here for Week 7 of the 2026 NFL Season! Below are my records for my straight up and against the spread picks for the season thus far.
Records Last Week:
Straight Up: 8-6
Against The Spread: 7-7
Season Records:
Straight Up: 54-38-1
Against The Spread: 42-50-1
Thursday Night Football: New England Patriots (4-2) @ Chicago Bears (4-2) I Line: Bears -2.5

I think this will be a lower-scoring game than some people are expecting. Both the Patriots' offense and defense have been playing well to start the season, while the Bears have been somewhat inconsistent but have still shown that they can compete at a high level.
If this were Caleb Williams' first game back from injury, I would probably lean toward the Patriots. New England has played some good football over the last three weeks, and its offense is starting to show signs of life. However, Williams returned last week against the Falcons and showed no signs of rust, which gives me confidence in the Bears.
The Patriots are also dealing with injuries along their offensive line, which could make things difficult against the Bears' defense. I expect Chicago to take advantage of those issues, make a couple of key defensive plays, and potentially force some turnovers.
Score Prediction: Bears 23, Patriots 20
ATS Pick: Bears -2.5
Sunday Slate:

Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) vs New Orleans Saints (2-4) I Line: Steelers -3.5
The Steelers and Saints are heading to Paris for this international matchup. If New Orleans had not picked up a win last week in New York, I would have liked the Saints as a potential upset pick here. That possibility is still there, but I ultimately think Pittsburgh is the better team.
I expect the Steelers to continue building momentum offensively and take advantage of New Orleans' defensive struggles.
Score Prediction: Steelers 26, Saints 20
ATS Pick: Steelers -3.5
Cincinnati Bengals (3-2) @ Baltimore Ravens (4-2) I Line: Bengals -1.5
This game largely depends on whether Lamar Jackson is available for Baltimore. As of now, it does not sound like Jackson will play, and if he is out, I like the Bengals to go on the road and get the win.
Cincinnati is coming off its bye week, and this is typically the point in the season when the Bengals begin to find their rhythm. Their defense has also looked much improved so far this year, giving them a solid foundation heading into the second half of the season.
I expect the Bengals' offense to start finding its stride as well, making them a difficult matchup if they can put everything together.
Score Prediction: Bengals 27, Ravens 20
ATS Pick: Bengals -1.5
Cleveland Browns (4-2) @ Tennessee Titans (1-5) I Line: Browns -1.5
The Titans are coming off their first win of the season, while the Browns are riding high after a remarkable fourth-quarter comeback against the Ravens. Cleveland's victory improved its record to 4-2 and put the team in first place in the AFC North.
I like Cleveland to carry that momentum into Tennessee.
The Browns are simply the more talented team, and I have more confidence in their ability to put together another winning performance.
Score Prediction: Browns 20, Titans 10
ATS Pick: Browns -1.5
Indianapolis Colts (2-4) @ Minnesota Vikings (5-0) I Line: Vikings -6.5
I would not be shocked if the Colts pulled off an upset here. Minnesota is coming off a bye week, and its offense has been inconsistent at times. Meanwhile, Indianapolis is coming off a disappointing loss to the Titans and has also fired general manager Chris Ballard at the start of the week.
With the Colts facing plenty of criticism, I could see the organization rallying together and using this game as an opportunity to hand Minnesota its first loss of the season.
However, I ultimately think the Vikings have too much offensive firepower. Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and T.J. Hockenson should all have opportunities to make plays against an Indianapolis defense that will be without Sauce Gardner.
On the other side of the ball, Brian Flores should be able to create problems for Daniel Jones with his aggressive defensive approach. I expect Minnesota to make the most of its advantages and continue its undefeated start.
Score Prediction: Vikings 28, Colts 18
ATS Pick: Vikings -6.5
Miami Dolphins (0-5) @ New York Jets (2-4) I Line: Jets -4.5
The Dolphins travel to New York coming off their bye week, and I think this is a good opportunity for them to finally get their first win of the season.
I do not expect Miami to go 0-17, and the Dolphins should be able to establish the running game against the Jets, which could help take pressure off their offense and give them a chance to control the tempo.
New York deserves credit for how well it has played recently, particularly on defense. The Jets have started earning more respect, and that could lead people to overlook Miami heading into this matchup.
Coming off a bye, with expectations relatively low, I think the Dolphins could surprise people and pull off the upset.
Score Prediction: Dolphins 23, Jets 22
ATS Pick: Dolphins +4.5
New York Giants (3-2-1) @ Houston Texans (2-4) I Line: Texans -10.5
The Giants travel to Houston with J.J. McCarthy now starting at quarterback. While the Texans' defense has not been particularly dominant this season, Houston's offense has looked fairly good, and I think that will be the difference in this matchup.
New York's defense has not impressed me enough to trust it against a Houston offense that has shown the ability to move the ball. I expect the Texans to find openings and put together productive drives throughout the game to get the win at home.
Score Prediction: Texans 24, Giants 14
ATS Pick: Giants +10.5
San Francisco 49ers (6-0) @ Atlanta Falcons (2-4) I Line: 49ers -2.5
The undefeated 49ers travel to Atlanta to take on one of the NFL's most inconsistent teams. Through the first several weeks of the season, San Francisco has been the league's most consistent team, while Atlanta has struggled to put together consistently strong performances.
Brock Purdy is playing at an MVP level right now, and the 49ers' offense continues to look dangerous. Playing in a domed stadium should also benefit Kyle Shanahan's offense, which I expect to have a lot of success against Atlanta.
Even with the short week, I trust San Francisco to take care of business on the road. The 49ers should be able to control this game, improve to 7-0, and head into their bye week undefeated.
Score Prediction: 49ers 28, Falcons 17
ATS Pick: 49ers -2.5
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-5) @ Carolina Panthers (3-2) I Line: Panthers -3.5
The Panthers have been one of the more pleasant surprises of the season, with their offense playing exceptionally well. Bryce Young has been performing among the best quarterbacks in the NFL right now.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers continue to find ways to lose games. Although this should be a close divisional battle, I have more confidence in Carolina to pull this one out with or without Baker Mayfield for the Bucs.
Score Prediction: Panthers 30, Buccaneers 21
ATS Pick: Panthers -3.5
Denver Broncos (4-2) @ Arizona Cardinals (2-4) I Line: Broncos -4.5
The Cardinals are coming off the biggest upset of the season, defeating the Rams as 12.5-point underdogs. Meanwhile, the Broncos have had extra rest after beating the Seahawks on Thursday night in Week 6.
I see this as an excellent buy-low opportunity on Denver, and I think the point spread should be higher.
The Rams were heavily favoured against Arizona last week but ended up losing outright. Given that Denver has already beaten the Rams, I have a hard time understanding why the Broncos are favoured by only 4.5 points against the Cardinals.
I expect Denver to dominate this matchup and potentially deliver Bo Nix's best performance of the season off the extra rest.
Score Prediction: Broncos 28, Cardinals 16
ATS Pick: Broncos -4.5
Green Bay Packers (4-2) @ Detroit Lions (3-2) I Line: Lions -3.5
The Packers have been playing excellent football lately, but I think the Lions are in a good position to win this divisional matchup at home.
Detroit is coming off its bye week, giving it two weeks to prepare for Green Bay. I expect this to be a high-scoring game, with both offenses capable of putting up points.
I also think Detroit has a greater sense of urgency heading into this game. With extra time to prepare and the advantage of playing at home, the Lions should be ready to end Green Bay's three-game winning streak.
Score Prediction: Lions 30, Packers 27
ATS Pick: Packers +3.5
Los Angeles Rams (2-4) @ Las Vegas Raiders (3-3) I Line: Rams -4.5
I am taking the Rams to bounce back after their disappointing loss to Arizona.
Los Angeles is dealing with several injuries on defense and will be without Davante Adams for a while, which makes this matchup more challenging. I would not be shocked if the Raiders pulled off an upset, particularly if their defense can continue forcing turnovers.
However, I still do not trust Las Vegas' defense enough to pick the Raiders here. I think Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay understand the importance of this game and will have their team ready to respond after last week's loss.
Score Prediction: Rams 24, Raiders 21
ATS Pick: Raiders +4.5
Sunday Night Football: Kansas City Chiefs (5-0) @ Seattle Seahawks (3-3) I Line: Seahawks -2.5

This is one of the most interesting matchups of the week, with Kenneth Walker returning to Seattle to face the team he helped lead to a Super Bowl MVP-winning season.
I know plenty of people will be picking the Seahawks this week. Seattle is coming off a disappointing stretch, and there is an argument that this is a must-win game for the team. Some will also point to Kansas City as a team that is due for a loss.
As a Seahawks fan, I have picked against Seattle over the last two weeks because I did not like the matchups. Unfortunately, I still do not like this one.
The biggest issue for Seattle is its inability to consistently establish the running game. Kansas City has been very good at stopping the run, and if the Seahawks cannot get anything going on the ground, they will be forced to rely more heavily on Sam Darnold.
That is a problem because Darnold has been turning the ball over far too often. When those turnovers happen around midfield, Seattle gives Patrick Mahomes and Kenneth Walker opportunities to operate with short fields. That is not a situation any defense wants to face, especially against an offense as dangerous as Kansas City's.
I actually think Seattle's defense can be reasonably effective when it has to defend longer drives. The problem is that constantly giving Mahomes the ball near midfield, or even deeper in Seattle territory, makes it incredibly difficult to win.
I just do not like this matchup for the Seahawks right now. I expect Kansas City to take advantage of Seattle's offensive struggles, protect the football, and come away with a road victory.
Score Prediction: Chiefs 23, Seahawks 20
ATS Pick: Chiefs +2.5
Monday Night Football: Dallas Cowboys (2-4) @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-4) I Line: Cowboys -4.5

I am taking the Cowboys to win on the road against the Eagles on Monday night.
Philadelphia has been hit hard by injuries and is dealing with major uncertainty heading into this matchup. Jalen Hurts is out for the season with blood clots, and it remains unclear whether Saquon Barkley will be available.
At this point, the Eagles are struggling to field a healthy lineup, while Dallas appears to be the healthier team heading into the game.
I think the Cowboys will have the more talented group available on the field and should be able to take advantage of Philadelphia's injury problems.
Score Prediction: Cowboys 21, Eagles 14
ATS Pick: Cowboys -4.5
