The Silcoff Selections are here for Week 12 of the 2025 NFL Season! Below are my records for my straight up and against the spread picks for the season thus far.

Records Last Week:

Straight Up: 10-5

Against The Spread: 9-4-2

Season Records:

Straight Up: 101-62-1

Against The Spread: 76-85-3

Thursday Night Football: Buffalo Bills (7-3) @ Houston Texans (5-5) I Line: Bills -6

ree

The Texans enter Thursday night on a two-game winning streak, but once again, they’ll be without CJ Stroud for the third straight game. Houston’s defense should keep them competitive, but ultimately, I expect Josh Allen and the Bills to snap that streak.

Score Prediction: Bills 20, Texans 17

ATS Pick: Texans +6

Early Sunday Slate: Chiefs Playoff Hopes on the Line Against Indy

ree

Indianapolis Colts (8-2) @ Kansas City Chiefs (5-5) I Line: Chiefs -3.5

Kansas City's AFC West hopes are essentially gone, and now they face an 8–2 Colts team determined to prove they’re for real. A Colts win would put the Chiefs on the brink of missing the playoffs entirely.

Even though Indy has been the better team this year, I’m giving Kansas City the edge based on reputation and desperation. Their playoff hopes are on life support — they have to fight.

Score Prediction: Chiefs 27, Colts 23

ATS Pick: Chiefs -3.5

Minnesota Vikings (4-6) @ Green Bay Packers (6-3-1) I Line: Packers -6.5

The Packers have consistently played down to weaker competition this season. JJ McCarthy likely can’t play worse than he did last week, and the Packers are expected to be without running back Josh Jacobs, which would be a significant loss.

Jordan Love will need to throw more, and in a messy NFC North matchup, I’ll give the slight edge to Green Bay.

Score Prediction: Packers 23, Vikings 19

ATS Pick: Vikings +6.5

New England Patriots (9-2) @ Cincinnati Bengals (3-7) I Line: Patriots -8.5

Joe Burrow is getting close to returning, but not this week. Ja'Marr Chase is suspended. This sets up a massive opportunity for New England.

Drake Maye has his first 300-yard passing game here, and I think is the new MVP favourite come Monday morning.

Score Prediction: Patriots 30, Bengals 20

ATS Pick: Patriots -8.5

New York Giants (2-9) @ Detroit Lions (6-4) I Line: Lions -10

We’ve seen this movie before: when Detroit loses, they respond by blowing someone out. The Giants are the unfortunate opponent this time.

Even if the game starts close — especially with Jaxson Dart likely back — Detroit will hit the gas in the second half. Missing the playoffs would be a huge failure for the Lions, and they play like it.

Score Prediction: Lions 31, Giants 17

ATS Pick: Lions -10

New York Jets (2-8) @ Baltimore Ravens (5-5) I Line: Ravens -13.5

Baltimore won’t repeat last week’s rough game against Cleveland. Tyrod Taylor gives the Jets a slight upgrade, but not enough to matter.

Score Prediction: Ravens 27, Jets 14

ATS Pick: Jets +13.5

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) @ Chicago Bears (7-3) I Line: Bears -2.5

Even if Aaron Rodgers does play (which remains unlikely), the Bears seem to have that late-game magic working again as they push for a playoff spot.

Caleb Williams has been terrific in clutch moments, and I trust Williams and head coach Ben Johnson more than Rodgers and Mike Tomlin right now.

Score Prediction: Bears 24, Steelers 20

ATS Pick: Bears -2.5

Seattle Seahawks (7-3) @ Tennessee Titans (1-9) I Line: Seahawks -13.5

A perfect rebound opportunity for Sam Darnold after throwing four interceptions last week. Even with that disaster, Seattle still kept the game close — a testament to their resilience on the road.

I expect a major bounce-back.

Score Prediction: Seahawks 28, Titans 12

ATS Pick: Seahawks -13.5

Sunday Afternoon Slate: Shedeuer Sanders Makes First Career Start Against Las Vegas

ree

Cleveland Browns (2-8) @ Las Vegas Raiders (2-8) I Line: Raiders -4

Shedeur Sanders will make his first start for Cleveland, but the Browns on the road are a different team — especially defensively. Maxx Crosby and Myles Garrett headline a matchup between elite pass rushers stuck on underperforming teams.

I’m siding with the home team.

Score Prediction: Raiders 20, Browns 10

ATS Pick: Raiders -4

Jacksonville Jaguars (6-4) @ Arizona Cardinals (3-7) I Line: Jaguars -3

This has upset potential written all over it.

Jacksonville has a pattern: dominate one week, collapse the next. Arizona could easily be leading late, but I think the Jags have more overall talent.

Score Prediction: Jaguars 24, Cardinals 17

ATS Pick: Jaguars -3

Atlanta Falcons (3-7) @ New Orleans Saints (2-8) I Line: Saints -1.5

Atlanta is falling apart fast. Michael Penix Jr. is out for the season, and Drake London is expected to miss this game too. Still, the Falcons remain more talented than New Orleans.

Despite New Orleans coming off a bye, I don’t see Atlanta dropping into last place.

Score Prediction: Falcons 21, Saints 16

ATS Pick: Falcons +1.5

Philadelphia Eagles (8-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (4-5-1) I Line: Eagles -3

A bright spot in an otherwise weak late-afternoon slate.

Dak is 6–1 at home in his career against the Eagles, and Dallas’ defense looked better Monday night — though that was against the Raiders.

The Eagles have been too good for too long to bet against. If the offense is going to find its rhythm again, this is the matchup to do it.

Expect offense, expect chaos, expect a shootout.

Score Prediction: Eagles 28, Cowboys 24

ATS Pick: Eagles -3

Sunday Night Football: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-4) @ Los Angeles Rams (8-2) I Line: Rams -6.5

ree

A sneaky upset spot for Tampa Bay. If the Bucs lose and the Panthers win, Carolina would suddenly sit in first place — a wild scenario.

The Rams have been excellent at home and are riding a high after last week’s statement win. This could be a letdown spot, but I’ll stick with the team that’s rolling.

Score Prediction: Rams 30, Buccaneers 23

ATS Pick: Rams -6.5

Monday Night Football: Carolina Panthers (6-5) @ San Francisco 49ers (7-4) I Line: 49ers -7

ree

Bryce Young is coming off the best game of his career — which usually means he crashes the following week. Brock Purdy looked healthy, San Francisco looks stabilized, and they’re at home.

Score Prediction: 49ers 27, Panthers 21

ATS Pick: Panthers +7
