The Silcoff Selections are here for Week 14 of the 2025 NFL Season! Below are my records for my straight up and against the spread picks for the season thus far.

Records Last Week:

Straight Up: 10-6

Against The Spread: 9-7

Season Records:

Straight Up: 122-71-1

Against The Spread: 90-100-4

Thursday Night Football: Dallas Cowboys (6-5-1) @ Detroit Lions (7-5) I Line: Lions -3

ree

NFL Week 14 kicks off with what might be the best Thursday Night Football game of the season: the Cowboys visiting the Detroit Lions. This matchup has enormous playoff implications, realistically, the loser is all but eliminated from contention.

Detroit’s injuries are simply piling up. Their defense hasn’t been able to stop anyone lately, Amon-Ra St. Brown is expected to miss the game, and Terrion Arnold is out as well. With those holes, it’s tough to see how the Lions match up against Dallas’ receivers or against Dak Prescott, who is playing some of his best football this season.

Score Prediction: Cowboys 29, Lions 24

ATS Pick: Cowboys +3

Sunday Games

ree

Seattle Seahawks (9-3) @ Atlanta Falcons (4-8) I Line: Seahawks -7

The Falcons are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Jets, while Seattle survived the Vikings despite Sam Darnold not looking sharp. Inside a dome, the Seahawks’ defense should be able to force turnovers, and that will likely be the difference on the road.

Score Prediction: Seahawks 24, Falcons 14

ATS Pick: Seahawks -7

Cincinnati Bengals (4-8) @ Buffalo Bills (8-4) I Line: Bills -5.5

This is a sneakily massive game for AFC playoff positioning. If Cincinnati wins, the AFC North becomes completely unpredictable, especially with the Bengals still having a matchup against the Ravens later this season. But even in a close contest, this feels like a “whoever has the ball last” type of game.

Josh Allen at home gives me a little more confidence in the Bills than Joe Burrow and the Bengals.

Score Prediction: Bills 31, Bengals 28

ATS Pick: Bengals +5.5

Tennessee Titans (1-11) @ Cleveland Browns (3-9) I Line: Browns -4

One of the least compelling games of the week, but a clear mismatch defensively. Cleveland’s defense should dominate, and Myles Garrett could realistically threaten the sack records in this one.

Score Prediction: Browns 19, Titans 7

ATS Pick: Browns -4

Washington Commanders (3-9) @ Minnesota Vikings (4-8) I Line: Vikings -2

Whether or not Jayden Daniels plays, it’s almost impossible to pick Minnesota right now. The Vikings look like a team counting down the days until the season ends. Washington lost last week but showed fight, and that alone puts them ahead of this Vikings squad.

Score Prediction: Commanders 20, Vikings 17

ATS Pick: Commanders +2

Miami Dolphins (5-7) @ New York Jets (3-9) I Line: Dolphins -3

Miami has found some momentum, but the Jets have actually played them well, especially at home. Tyrod Taylor has been quietly solid since taking over, and New York comes in after a win over Atlanta.

A surprising pick, but the Jets should be able to steal the season split.

Score Prediction: Jets 24, Dolphins 17

ATS Pick: Jets +3

New Orleans Saints (2-10) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-5) I Line: Buccaneers -8

The Saints have historically given the Buccaneers trouble, even in games Tampa needed to win. Expect another tight, grind-it-out contest. Eventually, Baker Mayfield and the Bucs offense should be able to pull away late.

Score Prediction: Buccaneers 27, Saints 17

ATS Pick: Buccaneers -8

Indianapolis Colts (8-4) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (8-4) I Line: Colts -1.5

This is a massive game for AFC South positioning, the winner takes the division lead. The Colts have been the more consistent team all year, but Jacksonville has quietly put together a string of strong performances.

With Daniel Jones playing through a broken fibula and still being listed as a road favorite, the edge goes to Jacksonville at home.

Score Prediction: Jaguars 26, Colts 23

ATS Pick: Jaguars +1.5

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-6) @ Baltimore Ravens (6-6) I Line: Ravens -6

A huge AFC North matchup. Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson have both looked off lately, but the Ravens get a big advantage with 10 days of rest after their Thanksgiving loss to Cincinnati. That should give Lamar enough time to reset and respond at home.

Score Prediction: Ravens 23, Steelers 18

ATS Pick: Steelers +6

Denver Broncos (10-2) @ Las Vegas Raiders (2-10) I Line: Broncos -7.5

Denver is fighting for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The Raiders are… counting down the days until the season is over. Expect turnovers from Geno Smith and a focused Denver squad.

Score Prediction: Broncos 24, Raiders 17

ATS Pick: Raiders +7.5

Chicago Bears (9-3) @ Green Bay Packers (8-3-1) I Line: Packers -6.5

Another tight NFC North battle. Chicago has been in close games all season, and it wouldn't be surprising if they went into Lambeau and won. Ben Johnson also made offseason comments about Matt LaFleur that could add fuel to the rivalry.

But overall, Green Bay has the better defense and slightly better offense. In a close one, the Packers should hold serve at home.

Score Prediction: Packers 20, Bears 17

ATS Pick: Bears +6.5

Los Angeles Rams (9-3) @ Arizona Cardinals (3-9) I Line: Rams -8

After a shocking upset loss to Carolina, the Rams should come in angry and locked in. They need this win to stay among the NFC’s top teams, and this feels like a perfect bounce-back opportunity.

Score Prediction: Rams 34, Cardinals 20

ATS Pick: Rams -8

Sunday Night Football: Houston Texans (7-5) @ Kansas City Chiefs (6-6) I Line: Chiefs -3

ree

Another pseudo-elimination game. Houston is quietly playing exceptional football, especially on defense, while Kansas City continues dealing with a battered offensive line. Patrick Mahomes will give everything he has, but the Texans’ defensive front, led by Will Anderson, should be able to disrupt him all night.

Houston’s defense may very well win this game on its own, putting the Chiefs on the brink of elimination while the Texans strengthen their position in the AFC South race.

Score Prediction: Texans 23, Chiefs 22

ATS Pick: Texans +3

Monday Night Football: Philadelphia Eagles (8-4) @ Los Angeles Chargers (8-4) I Line: Eagles -2.5

ree

If Justin Herbert were fully healthy, the Chargers would be the pick here—especially with Omarion Hampton returning. But with Herbert’s status uncertain and the Eagles looking like a team that’s internally frustrated, this becomes tricky.

Still, Philadelphia can’t afford to drop another game. Saquon Barkley is poised for his best performance of the season, and if Herbert isn’t himself, LA’s limited offense won’t be able to keep up.

Score Prediction: Eagles 21, Chargers 17

ATS Pick: Eagles -2.5
