The Silcoff Selections are here for Week 2 of the 2025 NFL Season! Below are my records for my straight up and against the spread picks for the season thus far.
Records Last Week:
Straight Up: 10-6
Against The Spread: 6-10
Season Records:
Straight Up: 10-5
Against The Spread: 6-10
Thursday Night Football: Washington Commanders (1-0) @ Green Bay Packers (1-0) I Line: Packers -3.5

Green Bay is coming off a dominant home win against the Lions, a team currently considered a Super Bowl contender. While Washington also won convincingly against the Giants in Week 1, I wasn’t impressed—New York looked lifeless more than anything else. The Packers take care of business at home.
Score Prediction: Packers 20, Commanders 17
ATS Pick: Commanders +3.5
Early Sunday Slate: Ben Johnson Returning to Detroit is Must See TV

Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions I Line: Lions -6
After a shocking collapse on Monday night, Bears head coach makes his return to Detroit to take on his former team in the Lions who are coming being blown out in Week 1 against the Packers. I think Detroit comes out motivated to take and takes down their former offensive coordinator in a huge game for both teams.
Score Prediction: Lions 27, Bears 20
ATS Pick: Lions -5.5
Buffalo Bills (1-0) @ New York Jets (0-1) I Line: Bills -6.5
After an emotional come-from-behind win on opening Sunday, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a bit of an early letdown from Buffalo. Justin Fields showed flashes in the Jets’ Week 1 loss to the Steelers, and the Bills’ defense didn’t look sharp to start the season. That said, Josh Allen might be the best player in football right now, and I think he finds a way to push Buffalo to 2-0.
Score Prediction: Bills 34, Jets 28
ATS Pick: Jets +6.5
Cleveland Browns (0-1) @ Baltimore Ravens (0-1) I Line: Ravens -11.5
Last year, the Ravens dropped their opener to the Chiefs, the same team that knocked them out of the playoffs the season before. This year, against the Bills—who ended their season last year—they somehow managed to choke the game away even worse. Unlike last year, I do think Baltimore wins its home opener, but Joe Flacco and the Browns sneak in a backdoor cover.
Score Prediction: Ravens 31, Browns 20
ATS Pick: Browns +11.5
Jacksonville Jaguars (1-0) @ Cincinnati Bengals (1-0) I Line: Bengals -3.5
Congrats, Bengals—you won your Week 1 game, even though you played like garbage. I’ll take the Jaguars to pull off the road upset here. I think Liam Coen schemes Trevor Lawrence into spots where he can exploit this Cincinnati defense, and until the Bengals prove they can play well in September, it’s tough to pick them even at home.
Score Prediction: Jaguars 23, Bengals 21
ATS Pick: Jaguars +3.5
Los Angeles Rams (1-0) @ Tennessee Titans (0-1) I Line: Rams -5.5
Cam Ward looked solid in his NFL debut, but with limited weapons and a shaky coaching staff, don't be shocked if the wins don't come right away. The Titans put up a fight, but Matthew Stafford and company should walk away with the win.
Score Prediction: Rams 17, Titans 10
ATS Pick: Rams -5.5
New England Patriots (0-1) @ Miami Dolphins (0-1) I Line: Dolphins -1
Both teams come into Week 2 following brutal Week 1 loses. Based on history, New England often has trouble playing September games in Miami. Even though I shouldn't be picking the Dolphins based on their Week 1 showing, Tua Tagovailoa has owned the Patriots throughout his career and if the Dolphins lose this game, I would not be shocked if Mike McDaniel is gone before Week 3.
Score Prediction: Dolphins 23, Patriots 19
ATS Pick: Dolphins -1
New York Giants (0-1) @ Dallas Cowboys (0-1) I Line: Cowboys -5.5
Despite the loss, the Cowboys had a strong first week, while the Giants were an absolute disaster. Until Jaxson Dart is starting at quarterback, it’s hard to believe in this Giants offense to get the job done, especially on the road.
Score Prediction: Cowboys 21, Giants 13
ATS Pick: Cowboys -5.5
Seattle Seahawks (0-1) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0) I Line: Steelers -3
Aaron Rodgers looked sharp in his Steelers debut, while Sam Darnold was really able to do much in his first game with the Seahawks as the offense struggled in a home loss to the 49ers. I do think the Seahawks' run game could take advantage of this Steelers' run defense, but I think TJ Watt just becomes too much for this Seattle offensive line to handle.
Score Prediction: Steelers 23, Seahawks 21
ATS Pick: Seahawks +3
San Francisco 49ers (1-0) @ New Orleans Saints (0-1) I Line: 49ers -3
The 49ers are going to be without Brock Purdy and George Kittle, but I still like them to pull out a win in New Orleans. Kyle Shanahan will scheme it up for Mac Jones, Christian McCaffrey will take over, and Robert Saleh’s defense will make life tough on Spencer Rattler as San Francisco finds a way to start 2-0 despite the injuries.
Score Prediction: 49ers 17, Saints 10
ATS Pick: 49ers -3
Sunday Afternoon Slate: Eagles Meet Chiefs in a Super Bowl Rematch

Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) @ Kansas City Chiefs (0-1) I Line: Eagles -1
Yes, I know it's hard to see the Chiefs starting 0-2, but if they are going to be without Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice, I just don't see how Kansas City is going to be able to put up points with the Eagles. I do think it will be closer than their Super Bowl matchup in February, but the Eagles go into Arrowhead and move to 2-0.
Score Prediction: Eagles 26, Chiefs 20
ATS Pick: Eagles -1
Carolina Panthers (0-1) @ Arizona Cardinals (0-1) I Line: Cardinals -6.5
The Cardinals have historically struggled against the Panthers, but after how bad Bryce Young and Carolina looked last week, I just can’t bring myself to pick them here. I think Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr. continue to build on their success from a week ago, and the Cardinals win their home opener.
Score Prediction: Cardinals 20 Panthers 10
ATS Pick: Cardinals -6.5
Denver Broncos (1-0) @ Indianapolis Colts (1-0) I Line: Broncos -1.5
Colts QB Daniel Jones might have had his best game of hid career on opening weekend, while Broncos QB Bo Nix had a rough showing in Week 1. Although the Denver offense did not play well in Week 1, I believe this is a good opportunity for them to bounce back against a pretty mediocre Colts defense. Denver also has one the best defenses in all of football and I see them forcing Jones into a couple turnovers. Broncos go on the road and win.
Score Prediction: Broncos 26, Colts 18
ATS Pick: Broncos -1.5
Sunday Night Football: Atlanta Falcons (0-1) @ Minnesota Vikings (1-0) I Line: Vikings -3.5

After one of the more unique NFL debuts ever on Monday Night Football, JJ McCarthy will make his first-ever home start as he and his Vikings take on the Falcons, who are coming off yet another devastating loss. I do think the Vikings could start off slow after that emotional come-from-behind win, but I think we all somewhat expect Atlanta to find a way to blow this game somehow.
Score Prediction: Vikings 24, Falcons 23
ATS Pick: Falcons +3.5
Monday Night Football Game 1: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) @ Houston Texans (0-1) I Line: Texans -2.5

I like the Texans to take this one, with their pass rush overwhelming a banged-up Tampa Bay offensive line. If Houston’s front gets consistent pressure, it should be enough to tilt the game in their favor. C.J. Stroud and the offense get back on track, in a game it feels like they need.
Score Prediction: Texans 20, Buccaneers 17
ATS Pick: Texans -2.5
Monday Night Football Game 2: Los Angeles Chargers (1-0) @ Las Vegas Raiders (1-0) I Line: Chargers -3.5

Both teams came out strong in Week 1, but the Chargers looked like they were on another level with their statement win over the Chiefs in Brazil. The Raiders should keep it close at home in a divisional battle, yet with the rest advantage, I see the Chargers pulling off the road win.
Score Prediction: Chargers 21, Raiders 20
ATS Pick: Raiders +3.5
