The Silcoff Selections are here for Week 3 of the 2025 NFL Season! Below are my records for my straight up and against the spread picks for the season thus far.

Records Last Week:

Straight Up: 10-6

Against The Spread: 6-10

Season Records:

Straight Up: 20-12

Against The Spread: 12-20

Thursday Night Football: Miami Dolphins (0-2) @ Buffalo Bills (2-0) I Line: Bills -12.5

ree

We all know the Bills are going to win this game. The only question is by how much. Tua Tagovailoa has historically struggled against Buffalo, and while Miami’s offense could put up points against the Bills’ weak secondary, they won't be able to stop Josh Allen on the other side of the ball. Buffalo wins in a blowout. This could even end up being Mike McDaniel’s last game as Dolphins head coach.

Score Prediction: Bills 36, Dolphins 22

ATS Pick: Bills -12.5

Early Sunday Slate: Eagles-Rams Clash In Playoff Rematch

ree

Los Angeles Rams (2-0) @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) I Line: Eagles -3.5

This playoff rematch from last year could end up being an NFC Championship preview. Still, with the Rams traveling east for an early kickoff, I’ll take the Eagles. Philly’s physicality is too much for Los Angeles to handle right now. The Rams could be more dangerous in January, but for Week 3, I'll take the Eagles all day.

Score Prediction: Eagles 24, Rams 23

ATS Pick: Rams +3.5

Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1) @ New England Patriots (1-1) I Line: Steelers -1.5

I want to pick New England, but they’ve been terrible at home in recent years. Their defense won’t pressure Aaron Rodgers the way Seattle did. Meanwhile, T.J. Watt finally gets going against a weak Patriots O-line. Steelers win a close one on the road.

Score Prediction: Steelers 27, Patriots 26

ATS Pick: Patriots +1.5

Atlanta Falcons (1-1) @ Carolina Panthers (0-2) I Line: Falcons -5.5

This is a divisional matchup, so it could be close, but ultimately I trust Atlanta is just so much more talented. Bijan Robinson and Drake London should be too much for Carolina’s defense to handle. Falcons win.

Score Prediction: Falcons 23, Panthers 13

ATS Pick: Falcons -5.5

Cincinnati Bengals (2-0) @ Minnesota Vikings (1-1) I Line: Vikings -3

It’s Carson Wentz against Jake Browning in a battle of backups. I’ll take the QB I trust more—Browning—who can lean on Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. That’s enough for Cincinnati to somehow move to 3-0 without Joe Burrow.

Score Prediction: Bengals 21, Vikings 17

ATS Pick: Bengals +3

Green Bay Packers (2-0) @ Cleveland Browns (0-2) I Line: Packers -7.5

On paper, this looks like an easy Packers win. But I do see it as a potential trap game. With Micah Parsons looking ahead to his Cowboys revenge game in Week 4, Green Bay could come out slow. I do think the Browns have a puncher’s chance, but I still think the Packers win. Just don’t lock them in as your survivor pick.

Score Prediction: Packers 26, Browns 16

ATS Pick: Packers -7.5

Houston Texans (0-2) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) I Line: Jaguars -1.5

I hate picking either of these teams, but one has to win. I’m going with the unit I trust most at that is the Texans’ defense. Houston should be more desperate and they find a way to get it done against Jacksonville in a must-win spot.

Score Prediction: Texans 21, Jaguars 19

ATS Pick: Texans +1.5

Indianapolis Colts (2-0) @ Tennessee Titans (0-2) I Line: Colts -4

Daniel Jones has played very and I trust Shane Steichen way more than Brian Callahan. Jonathan Taylor could run wild. I do think Cam Ward will play well, but not enough to stop Indy. Colts move to 3-0.

Score Prediction: Colts 28, Titans 17

ATS Pick: Colts -4

Las Vegas Raiders (1-1) @ Washington Commanders (1-1) I Line: Commanders -3.5

Even if Jayden Daniels suits up, I like Las Vegas here. Pete Carroll’s squads historically thrive in early East Coast games and I think Geno Smith bounces back after a rough outing on Monday Night. Raiders go on the road and pull out a win in Washington.

Score Prediction: Raiders 20, Commanders 18

ATS Pick: Raiders +3.5

New York Jets (0-2) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0) I Line: Buccaneers -6.5

If Justin Fields were starting, I’d consider this a trap spot for Tampa. But with Tyrod Taylor under center, the Jets won’t be dynamic enough. Jets put up a fight but the Buccaneers win a close one.

Score Prediction: Buccaneers 27, Jets 20

ATS Pick: Buccaneers -6.5

Sunday Afternoon Slate: Cowboys-Bears Play in America's Game of The Week

ree

Dallas Cowboys (1-1) @ Chicago Bears (0-2) I Line: Cowboys -1

I want to pick the Bears, but I just can’t until they actually win. Chicago’s secondary is decimated by injuries, and Dak Prescott should have a big day. I could even see CeeDee Lamb scoring multiple touchdowns. Cowboys win on the road.

Score Prediction: Cowboys 31, Bears 26

ATS Pick: Cowboys -1

Arizona Cardinals (2-0) @ San Francisco 49ers (2-0) I Line: 49ers -2.5

Mac Jones looked good last week, but Arizona is much better than New Orleans. San Francisco tends to start slow and has injuries piling up, while Arizona usually does start seasons off strong. Cardinals win and move to 3-0.

Score Prediction: Cardinals 20, 49ers 17

ATS Pick: Cardinals +2.5

New Orleans Saints (0-2) @ Seattle Seahawks (1-1) I Line: Seahawks -7.5

The Saints aren’t as bad as I expected, but Seattle’s defense under Mike Macdonald is a top-five unit in my opinion. I think Spencer Rattler will turn the ball over multiple times, while Sam Darnold has his best game as a Seahawk thus far. Seattle wins comfortably at home.

Score Prediction: Seahawks 23, Saints 10

ATS Pick: Seahawks -7.5

Denver Broncos (1-1) @ Los Angeles Chargers (2-0) I Line: Chargers -3

Everyone’s high on the Chargers after two straight divisional wins to open the season, but I think this could be a letdown spot. Denver, coming off an embarrassing loss to the Colts, bounces back in L.A. Broncos win in a game it feels like they need if they want to keep pace with the Chargers in the AFC West race early on in the season.

Score Prediction: Broncos 21, Chargers 20

ATS Pick: Broncos +3

Sunday Night Football: Kansas City Chiefs (0-2) @ New York Giants (0-2) I Line: Chiefs -6

ree

I don’t see any world where Kansas City falls to 0-3. The Giants’ pass rush might cause problems, but the Chiefs are desperate and simply better. Patrick Mahomes and company win on the road.

Score Prediction: Chiefs 24, Giants 20

ATS Pick: Giants +6

Monday Night Football: Detroit Lions (1-1) @ Baltimore Ravens (1-1) I Line: Ravens -4.5

ree

This could be a Super Bowl preview but while it should be a close game on on paper, I think Baltimore rolls. Lamar Jackson dominates NFC opponents, Derrick Henry bounces back with a huge game, and the Ravens win big at home.

Score Prediction: Ravens 33, Lions 21

ATS Pick: Ravens -4.5
