The Silcoff Selections are here for Week 4 of the 2026 NFL Season! Below are my records for my straight up and against the spread picks for the season thus far.

Records Last Week:

Straight Up: 8-8

Against The Spread: 6-10

Season Records:

Straight Up: 30-18

Against The Spread: 23-25

Thursday Night Football: Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1) @ Cleveland Browns (2-1) I Line: Steelers -2.5

Week four kicks off with an AFC North battle between two surprising 2-1 teams in the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns, and I really do like the Browns in this spot.

Deshaun Watson is starting to find his game, and the Browns’ skill players have gotten better every week. While the Steelers are coming off their most impressive game of the year, a Week 3 win against the Bengals at home, I think Cleveland’s defense is fairly underrated and will be able to make Aaron Rodgers uncomfortable.

The Browns also have done well at home against division opponents, especially in matchups against the Steelers, winning four straight at home against Pittsburgh. They’ve done fairly well on Thursday Night Football at home. I think Cleveland wins its third straight game and improves to 3-1.

Score Prediction: Browns 17, Steelers 16

ATS Pick: Browns +2.5

Sunday Slate:

Indianapolis Colts (1-2) vs Washington Commanders (1-2) I Line: Colts -3.5

The Commanders and Colts are headed across the pond to London, and they’re both coming off impressive wins in Week 3.

The Commanders obviously took down my Seattle Seahawks, which was a shocking result with backup quarterback Marcus Mariota leading the way. The Colts, meanwhile, took down the Houston Texans, who many expected to be a contender for the AFC title this year.

I think this game is going to feature a lot of offense, and it sounds like Marcus Mariota is going to get the start again for the Commanders. While I do think he’ll be able to move the ball against this Colts defense, I think Indianapolis is simply the healthier and more talented team. I expect a HUGE day out of Jonathan Taylor. I’m thinking two-plus touchdowns and perhaps 200-plus yards.

As long as Daniel Jones doesn’t turn the ball over and avoids giving Washington short fields and easy scoring opportunities, I think Indianapolis pulls away and the Colts win.

Score Prediction: Colts 30, Commanders 24

ATS Pick: Colts -3.5

Arizona Cardinals (1-2) @ New York Giants (2-1) I Line: Cardinals -2.5

One of my favourite plays of the week is a matchup between two teams that are probably going to be picking high in this year’s draft, but I like the Cardinals to go into New York and win big against the G-Men.

The Giants had a nice win last week in their first game without Jaxson Dart. I guess Jameis Winston did enough to win, but he and the Giants were going up against what I think is perhaps the worst offense in football in the Tennessee Titans, with Cam Ward leading that awful unit.

The Cardinals might not be great, but they do move the ball against at a consistent rate, and I think Jacoby Brissett is going to have a day. Rookie running back Jeremiyah Love is also starting to find his stride, and I expect him to find the end zone. Trey McBride and Michael Wilson also give this Cardinals offense plenty of weapons, and I think they’re going to have plenty of chances to put up points in this game.

Give me the Cardinals to go on the road and win fairly comfortably.

Score Prediction: Cardinals 31, Giants 17

ATS Pick: Cardinals -2.5

New England Patriots (1-2) @ Buffalo Bills (3-0) I Line: Bills -6.5

The Patriots travel to Highmark Stadium for the Bills’ third straight home game to open their new stadium, and this is a kitchen-sink game for New England. If they lose this game and allow Buffalo to win, this division is all but wrapped up in the first week of October.

There was a similar situation last year when the Bills were undefeated and the Patriots came to town and picked up a huge win, which kick-started their season and ultimately led to them being in the Super Bowl. This time around, I just don’t see it.

I think Drake Maye will play better this week because I don’t think the Bills’ defense is that good, but Josh Allen is just playing great right now. The vibe in Buffalo seems to be good, while it seems to be a disaster in New England.

I think New England competes and keeps this to a one-score game, but Buffalo picks up the home win.

Score Prediction: Bills 23, Patriots 21

ATS Pick: Patriots +6.5

New York Jets (1-2) @ Chicago Bears (2-1) I Line: Bears -3.5

The Jets travel to Chicago to take on the Bears, who we still don’t know will be playing quarterback for Chicago. It’s either going to be Tyson Bagent, who is typically the QB2, or Case Keenum, who balled out on Monday Night Football against the Eagles and led the Bears to a win with Bagent in concussion protocol.

As far as the Jets go, while their offense has been solid to start the year and has been able to move the ball, they will for sure be without Breece Hall this weekend, and there’s a chance they’ll be without Garrett Wilson as well. I think this could be an opportunity for a guy like Kenyon Sadiq to get more targets, which should be exciting for Jets fans.

If Garrett Wilson is playing, I would be tempted to take the Jets in a potential upset here. But if Geno Smith is without his top two weapons in Hall and Wilson, I have a hard time seeing him go into Chicago and win.

Ben Johnson showed on Monday that he can move the ball against what’s supposed to be one of the best defenses in football with a backup quarterback when they faced the Eagles. I think he’ll have a much easier time against this Jets defense and a scheme he’s familiar with, as Aaron Glenn and Johnson were together in Detroit.

Give me the Bears in a competitive game to win their second straight without Caleb Williams

Score Prediction: Bears 24, Jets 20

ATS Pick: Bears -3.5

Dallas Cowboys (1-2) @ Houston Texans (0-3) I Line: Texans -3

The Texas Bowl between the Cowboys and Texans is one of the better games of the day, and I just can’t wait to watch this game.

The Cowboys are coming off an awful loss in Brazil, where they somehow lost in regulation after leaving Baltimore with only seven seconds of time when they kicked the ball off. Just so much went wrong for Dallas in those final moments.

Meanwhile, the Texans have their second straight 0-3 start to a season, and they cannot afford to go 0-4 if they hope this season can turn out like they imagined in the offseason and like I imagined for them. Luckily for Houston, it does sound like Nico Collins will be making his return to the lineup after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury.

This week, I think the Texans’ defense finally shows up after a lacklustre start to the season. I think they play with their hair on fire. We’ve seen what C.J. Stroud has been able to do against not-great defenses this year, while the Cowboys’ defense was fine in some cases last week against the Ravens, they still gave up 34 points.

Houston, in a must-win spot, picks up their first win of the year. If they don’t, I’m done believing in them because I’ve picked them every week this year. I hate this team right now. I don’t know why I keep coming back to them, but I think they get their first win of the year because they simply have to.

Score Prediction: Texans 28, Cowboys 24

ATS Pick: Texans -3

Los Angeles Rams (1-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-1) I Line: Rams -3

The Eagles are coming off being embarrassed on Monday Night Football against the Bears, while the Rams are coming off another disastrous late-game collapse, which is becoming a lot more common than people want to talk about when discussing this team after they blew another 16-point lead in Denver last week.

At the end of the day, I’m just going with the home team here. The Eagles have done well against the Rams over the past two seasons, and it sounds like Puka Nacua will be returning for the Rams, which will give them a boost. That said, Davante Adams has done great in Nacua’s absence the last two weeks, but I think this Eagles defense bounces back after an atrocious effort against Chicago on Monday.

Jalen Hurts does well when his back is against the wall, and this week feels like one of those games. Without Myles Garrett for the Rams, I believe Philly will be able to keep a clean pocket for Hurts, and Philly wins at home, sending the Rams to a shocking 1-3 start to the year.

Score Prediction: Eagles 24, Rams 23

ATS Pick: Eagles +3

Green Bay Packers (1-2) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-3) I Line: Packers -3.5

Who would’ve thought a month ago the Packers and Buccaneers would be here? I just have no interest in watching this game. These two teams have been awful watches to start the year.

The Packers will have had extra rest coming off their embarrassing effort in Week 3 at home, losing 35-14 to the Falcons, while the Buccaneers are 0-3 and will now be without Baker Mayfield for a few weeks with a thumb injury.

If Jordan Love and the Packers can’t win this game in pretty convincing fashion against a quarterback making his first career start, then they truly are doomed this year.

While Matt LaFleur has his flaws, he’s a much better coach than Todd Bowles. Green Bay is somehow the healthier team right now, they’re coming off extra rest, and I think they come out firing. I think the offense does well, and the Packers leave Tampa with the win to get to .500 and put their season somewhat back on track, while the Buccaneers would be all but done.

Score Prediction: Packers 27, Buccaneers 13

ATS Pick: Packers -3.5

Tennessee Titans (0-3) @ Baltimore Ravens (2-1) I Line: Ravens -11.5

Simple analysis for this game. The Titans and Cam Ward are awful, while Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, and the Ravens are very good.

Derrick Henry faces his former team for the first time, and I think he could have a hat-trick in this game. The Ravens will absolutely roll the Titans this week.

I’ve lost all faith in Cam Ward as a starting-calibre quarterback at this point. The Titans’ operation is an embarrassment to the sport, and if I’m wrong and the Titans somehow go in there and win, good on them.

Baltimore runs away with this game behind a Derrick Henry masterclass.

Score Prediction: Ravens 34, Titans 10

ATS Pick: Ravens -11.5

Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1) @ Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) I Line: Bengals -2.5

This is another one of the games I’m more interested in watching this weekend.

Last year, when these two teams faced off, that was the game Joe Burrow went down with the turf toe injury, so hopefully we actually get to see a full game between Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow this time around.

The Bengals are coming off a fairly bad loss against Pittsburgh, giving up 30 points to that offense after saying their defense was fully back. Meanwhile, the Jaguars are coming off a demolition of the Patriots.

I do think the Jaguars are the better team and are playing better football right now, I think the Bengals will be out to prove something after last week’s bad effort in Pittsburgh. The offense finally seemed to get it going, and I think the Jaguars are going to be coming off a bit of a high after that dominant win against New England.

Give me the Bengals to win at home in a pretty fun football game.

Score Prediction: Bengals 24, Jaguars 22

ATS Pick: Jaguars +2.5

Miami Dolphins (0-3) @ Minnesota Vikings (3-0) I Line: Vikings -10.5

Have you ever seen the meme of the hydrogen bomb versus the coughing baby? Well, it’s not exactly that, but that’s kind of how I feel about Brian Flores going up against the Miami Dolphins this weekend.

The Vikings, despite the injuries, are 3-0 to start the year, and as Kyler Murray gets more comfortable in Kevin O’Connell’s system, I think this offense will start to find its footing. The Vikings’ defense has also been very impressive to start the year.

The Dolphins have shown some fight, but I just think on the road, they’re going to be completely outmatched. Now, they’re going to be without De’Von Achane for the rest of the year after he tore his ACL, which makes things even tougher for Miami.

Vikings win big. I don’t even think the Dolphins score a touchdown.

Score Prediction: Vikings 24, Dolphins 6

ATS Pick: Vikings -10.5

Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) @ Las Vegas Raiders (3-0) I Line: Chiefs -4.5

Who would’ve thought in September that the Chiefs and Raiders’ first matchup of the year would be a game for first place in the AFC West, with both teams sitting at 3-0? That’s just crazy.

Good on the Raiders. They’ve already matched their win total from last season, and they’ve gotten better every week. The offense looks very good, and Brock Bowers is fully back after missing the first two games of the year. I do think the Raiders will be in this game for sure, and they’ll give the Chiefs a scare, but ultimately, Patrick Mahomes is dialled right now.

I think the Chiefs’ defense will continue to be fairly solid, but Kenneth Walker is going to have a fairly good game here. As the Chiefs get ready for their early bye in Week 5, I think they’ll go into it 4-0, sitting atop the AFC and the AFC West and looking fully back.

Kansas City wins on the road, but the Raiders give them a run for their money.

Score Prediction: Chiefs 27, Raiders 23

ATS Pick: Raiders +4.5

Los Angeles Chargers (0-3) @ Seattle Seahawks (2-1) I Line: Seahawks -7

Welp, the Seahawks’ win streak has come to an end at twelve straight games going back to last season, and it ended with an embarrassing loss against the Commanders, where Sam Darnold turned the ball over in multiple spots and the defense did get somewhat cooked.

Meanwhile, the Chargers are off to maybe the worst start in the NFL this year. The offense looks terrible after all the hype surrounding Mike McDaniel joining the coaching staff. Justin Herbert has been awful, and Jim Harbaugh seems to nothave the squad ready to play. Now he’s facing off against one of his protégés in Mike Macdonald, who was with him at Michigan for a bit.

I think if the Seahawks had won last week, this could’ve been a decent trap game with the 49ers coming up next week. But after a loss last week, Mike Macdonald will have these dudes ready to go. They need to win. They can’t be losing these games that they should have in this division.

And the Chargers have done nothing to show me that they can close out games. They’ll be in this game because they will be playing for their season; you can come back from 0-3. You can’t come back from 0-4, especially with their upcoming schedule.

The Seahawks, for the most part, have found ways to win games, while the Chargers have just found ways to lose games.

Seattle wins.

Score Prediction: Seahawks 23, Chargers 17

ATS Pick: Chargers +7

Denver Broncos (2-1) @ San Francisco 49ers (3-0) I Line: 49ers -2.5

Remember that trap game I was talking about for the Seahawks if they had won last week, with the 49ers coming up in Week 5? Well, I think that trap game comes up for the 49ers when they take on the Broncos this weekend.

Denver will be awful in the first half, like they always are with Bo Nix, but as long as this game is close in the second half, they’ve found ways to win close games against good football teams. And while the 49ers are very good, it doesn’t sound like they’re going to have Mike Evans this weekend. Trent Williams also got injured, and while he might play, he’s going to be banged up.

I just think this Broncos team is very good. There’s a reason I picked them at the start of the year to get to the Super Bowl. I’m not entirely confident in that right now, but they are good on paper. I think they have a better overall roster on paper.

I just feel like the Broncos have been battle-tested to start this season, while this will be the best test the 49ers will get to start the year. When they faced the Rams, to be fair, the Rams were very jet-lagged, and while that’s on Sean McVay, it is something I have to take into account.

I think Denver wins this game in between the trenches, and with San Francisco potentially looking ahead to Seattle in Week 5, Denver goes on the road and wins.

Score Prediction: Broncos 26, 49ers 23

ATS Pick: Broncos +2.5

Sunday Night Football: Detroit Lions (2-1) @ Carolina Panthers (1-2) I Line: Lions -3.5

Am I reading this right? The Carolina Panthers are playing on Sunday Night Football? Wow. That’s something you don’t see every year.

The Panthers’ offense has been fairly good to start the year, although they were somewhat disappointing last week in Cleveland, where they lost 21-18. But I think against this Detroit secondary, they’ll be able to move the ball, and we’re actually going to see a shootout here on Sunday Night Football.

But with the Panthers’ key injuries in the secondary, I think Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Jared Goff are going to have a field day. They’re the more skilled offense, and I think that’s what it’s going to come down to in this game.

I do think the atmosphere in Carolina will be electric, but I think the better team is Detroit. I think they go in and win, and after people have been talking about how they’ve been somewhat disappointing to start the year, they’ll be 3-1, which shows you they are a good football team.

Detroit wins.

Score Prediction: Lions 33, Panthers 29

ATS Pick: Panthers +3.5

Monday Night Football: Atlanta Falcons (1-2) @ New Orleans Saints (1-2) I Line: Saints -2.5

This Monday Night Football game will mean a lot to the city of New Orleans, as it’s an anniversary game of Hurricane Katrina. I just think this atmosphere is going to be so, so loud in the Big Easy.

The Saints have been fun to start this year. They’ve played some fairly competitive games, and Tyler Shough is quickly developing into one of my favourite quarterbacks in the league.

Chris Olave looks healthy, and he’s looking like one of the best wide receivers in the league.

I actually think it’s going to be a great offensive game. I’ve already mentioned some of the Saints’ weapons, but even the Falcons now have a competent quarterback. Bijan Robinson is very much in the mix for Offensive Player of the Year, and Drake London, while he might be slow as shit, is still a big body out there who gets open.

I do think these Falcons all of a sudden have some life in this division, as long as Michael Penix stays healthy. But in what’s going to be an emotional night in New Orleans, give me the Saints to win at home and get back to .500 after losing last week to the Raiders.

Score Prediction: Saints 28, Falcons 24

ATS Pick: Saints -2.5
