The Silcoff Selections are here for Week 5 of the 2025 NFL Season! Below are my records for my straight up and against the spread picks for the season thus far.
Records Last Week:
Straight Up: 12-3-1
Against The Spread: 10-5-1
Season Records:
Straight Up: 39-24-1
Against The Spread: 26-37-1
Thursday Night Football: San Francisco (3-1) @ Los Angeles Rams (3-1) I Line: Rams -8

The 49ers are banged up — no Brock Purdy, no George Kittle, no Jauan Jennings, no Ricky Pearsall. That’s just too much firepower missing. Meanwhile, the Rams’ duo of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams is quickly becoming one of the best in football. Nacua looks like he’s on a 2,000-yard pace. I think the Rams take this one fairly easily at home.
Score Prediction: Rams 20, 49ers 10
ATS Pick: Rams -8
Early Sunday Slate: Dillon Gabriel Makes His First Career Start in London Against Vikings

Cleveland Browns (1-3) vs Minnesota Vikings (2-2) I Line: Vikings -3.5
It’s Dillon Gabriel’s first career start, for the Browns and he’s walking right into Brian Flores’ blitz-heavy defense. Bad matchup for a small rookie QB making his debut overseas. The Vikings find a way to grind this one out and move to 3-2.
Score Prediction: Vikings 17, Browns 9
ATS Pick: Vikings -3.5
Dallas Cowboys (1-2-1) @ New York Jets (0-4) I Line: Cowboys -2.5
Upset alert. I think Breece Hall and Justin Fields run wild against this Cowboys defense. The Jets were embarrassed on Monday Night Football, but this feels like a kitchen sink game at home against a brutal Cowboys defense.
Score Prediction: Jets 28, Cowboys 27
ATS Pick: Jets +2.5
Denver Broncos (2-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (4-0) I Line: Eagles -3.5
I’m not betting against Philly until they actually lose. Bo Nix has been shaky thus far, and while Denver’s defense is elite, Jalen Hurts and the Eagles squeak by at home.
Score Prediction: Eagles 24, Broncos 20
ATS Pick: Eagles -3.5
Houston Texans (1-3) @ Baltimore Ravens (1-3) I Line: Texans -1
No Lamar Jackson? Big problem. Houston’s defense will be all over Cooper Rush. Sure, Derrick Henry could go nuclear, but I like Nico Collins to get behind this Ravens defense and the Texans to steal this one.
Score Prediction: Texans 21, Ravens 13
ATS Pick: Texans -1
Las Vegas Raiders (1-3) @ Indianapolis Colts (3-1) I Line: Colts -7
The Colts look legit even after last week’s loss to the Rams, while the Raiders are a mess with Geno Smith constantly turning the ball over. Vegas might keep it close, but Indy pulls away late.
Score Prediction: Colts 29, Raiders 23
ATS Pick: Raiders +7
Miami Dolphins (1-3) @ Carolina Panthers (1-3) I Line: Dolphins -1
Miami finally picked up a win but lost Tyreek Hill in the process. Carolina takes advantage at home — Chuba Hubbard pounds the rock, Tet McMillan has a breakout game, and Bryce Young does just enough.
Score Prediction: Panthers 27, Dolphins 24
ATS Pick: Panthers +1
New York Giants (1-3) @ New Orleans Saints (0-4) I Line: Saints -2
The Saints aren’t going 0-17. While I like Jaxson Dart, Malik Nabers is out, and the Giants’ weapons are limited. Spencer Rattler might struggle, but New Orleans finally gets a win.
Score Prediction: Saints 23, Giants 20
ATS Pick: Saints -2
Sunday Afternoon Slate: The Best Uniform Matchup Ever?
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1) @ Seattle Seahawks (3-1) I Line: Seahawks -3.5
I’ll be in the building for this one, and the jersey matchup alone is legendary — both teams rocking their 1976 throwbacks. No Mike Evans, and likely no Bucky Irving for Tampa. Seattle’s defense forces Baker into a couple mistakes, and Seattle gets a close win at home.
Score Prediction: Seahawks 26, Buccaneers 23
ATS Pick: Buccaneers +3.5
Tennessee Titans (0-4) @ Arizona Cardinals (2-2) I Line: Cardinals -7.5
I feel bad for Cam Ward — the coaching in Tennessee is brutal right now. Until changes are made, I can’t back the Titans. Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr. build off the fourth quarter of last week and get it done at home.
Score Prediction: Cardinals 27, Titans 16
ATS Pick: Cardinals -7.5
Detroit Lions (3-1) @ Cincinnati Bengals (2-2) I Line: Lions -10
No Joe Burrow, no chance for these Bengals. The Lions are hot and roll to another win on the road.
Score Prediction: Lions 33, Bengals 24
ATS Pick: Bengals +10
Washington Commanders (2-2) @ Los Angeles Chargers (3-1) I Line: Chargers -2.5
Jayden Daniels is back, and the Chargers’ offensive line is decimated with Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater out. That’s trouble. A fresh Daniels helps Washington get it done on the road.
Score Prediction: Commanders 24, Chargers 21
ATS Pick: Commanders +2.5
Sunday Night Football: New England Patriots (2-2) @ Buffalo Bills (4-0) I Line: Bills -8

Drake Maye and the young Patriots are fun, but Josh Allen owns this division. New England keeps it interesting for a half, then Buffalo pulls away.
Score Prediction: Bills 30, Patriots 21
ATS Pick: Bills -8
Sunday Night Football: Kansas City Chiefs (2-2) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (3-1) I Line: Chiefs -3.5

The Jags’ defense is forcing turnovers left and right, but Trevor Lawrence is handing them right back. Kansas City’s offense woke up last week, and I think it keeps rolling.
Score Prediction: Chiefs 24, Jaguars 17
ATS Pick: Chiefs -3.5
