The Silcoff Selections are here for Week 9 of the 2026 NFL Season! Below are my records for my straight up and against the spread picks for the season thus far.

Records Last Week:

Straight Up: 8-6

Against The Spread: 7-7

Season Records:

Straight Up: 72-48-1

Against The Spread: 58-62-1

Thursday Night Football: Jacksonville Jaguars (5-2) @ Baltimore Ravens (4-4) I Line: Jaguars -9.5

It is crazy how quickly a team's entire season can change.

Lamar Jackson returned to the lineup for just one snap after missing time with an injury, and now he is potentially out for the season with a thumb injury. To make matters worse for Baltimore, backup quarterback Snoop Huntley is also reportedly out for the year with turf toe.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars are rolling right now.

With Baltimore's quarterback situation in complete disarray, I just do not see the Ravens

getting enough quarterback play to keep up with Jacksonville. The Jaguars have momentum, and I expect them to take advantage of a Ravens team dealing with some major injury issues.

Score Prediction: Jaguars 27, Ravens 13

ATS Pick: Jaguars -9.5

Sunday Slate:

Cincinnati Bengals (5-2) vs Atlanta Falcons (3-5) I Line: Bengals -3.5

The Bengals and Falcons are heading to Spain for this one.

I like Cincinnati to keep its offense rolling. We never really know what we are going to get from the Falcons on any given week, but I do think Atlanta will be able to move the football and make things interesting.

The problem is that Cincinnati simply has too much firepower.

If the Bengals' offense continues playing the way it has recently, I think they will ultimately be too much for Atlanta to handle.

Score Prediction: Bengals 28, Falcons 22

ATS Pick: Bengals -3.5

Cleveland Browns (5-3) @ New Orleans Saints (2-5) I Line: Saints -2.5

Deshaun Watson is expected to miss the game for Cleveland with a concussion, which means Shedeur Sanders will likely make his first start of the season.

The Saints are coming off their bye week, and I think New Orleans is the more desperate team in this matchup as it tries to stay involved in the NFC South race.

Coming off a bye and playing at home, this feels like a good opportunity for the Saints to get back on track.

Score Prediction: Saints 23, Browns 16

ATS Pick: Saints -2.5

Dallas Cowboys (3-5) @ Indianapolis Colts (2-6) I Line: Cowboys -5.5

The Cowboys are coming off a disastrous loss to the Cardinals, but fortunately for them, this looks like a nice bounce-back spot.

They are heading to Indianapolis to face a Colts team surrounded by trade rumors, and at this point, it feels like we do not even know exactly what Indianapolis will look like by Sunday.

Dallas needs a response after last week's performance, and I think it gets one.

Score Prediction: Cowboys 31, Colts 23

ATS Pick: Cowboys -5.5

Denver Broncos (6-2) @ Carolina Panthers (3-4) I Line: Broncos -2.5

The last time we saw the Panthers, they were having trouble blocking the Packers' defense. That makes me think they could have even more problems dealing with Denver's defense.

That being said, Carolina did have some extra time to prepare as they played last Thursday, while Denver is coming off a highly emotional win over Kansas City. That could make this a closer game than some people expect.

Still, I trust Denver's defense to cause enough problems for Carolina. I think the Broncos win on the road, although it will be a close battle.

Score Prediction: Broncos 22, Panthers 20

ATS Pick: Panthers +2.5

Detroit Lions (5-2) @ Miami Dolphins (1-6) I Line: Lions -6.5

There will be a lot of points scored in this game.

I am taking the Lions because their offense is just so dangerous right now. Detroit has plenty of issues defensively and cannot seem to stop anybody consistently, but this offense is capable of putting up points against anyone.

Expect plenty of scoring and Malik Willis to possibly keep the Dolphins in this game, but I like Lions to come out on top.

Score Prediction: Lions 34, Dolphins 23

ATS Pick: Lions -6.5

Los Angeles Rams (4-4) @ Washington Commanders (2-4-1) I Line: Rams -4.5

After their win last week, I would not completely rule out the Commanders in the NFC East race just yet.

The division has been so bad that Washington still has a chance to make things interesting. Technically, the Commanders did not lose to the Giants, who are currently leading the division, so there is still plenty to play for.

That said, I think the Rams are going to win this game.

Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay know their margin for error is extremely limited if they want to accomplish anything meaningful this season. At this point, the Rams cannot afford many more mistakes.

I expect Washington to keep it competitive, but I am taking the Rams in a tight one in D.C.

Score Prediction: Rams 26, Commanders 21

ATS Pick: Rams -4.5

New York Giants (4-2-1) @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-6) I Line: Giants -3.5

The Giants are coming off their bye week, which should give JJ McCarthy more time to become comfortable in the system.

Philadelphia is being led by Joe Milton at quarterback, and this feels like an opportunity for New York to go into Philadelphia and pull off a road win.

Score Prediction: Giants 23, Eagles 16

ATS Pick: Giants -3.5

New York Jets (2-6) @ Kansas City Chiefs (5-2) I Line: Chiefs -9.5

The Chiefs are coming off back-to-back losses, and I think this is a good spot for them to get back on track at home.

I do think the Jets will be competitive for part of this game because their offense is sneakily good. Though, Garrett Wilson is likely to miss the game, but Breece Hall should be back, and New York should still have opportunities to move the football.

Ultimately, though, I think Kansas City wins comfortably. The Jets could put up some points late once the game is already out of reach, but I expect the Chiefs to take control.

Score Prediction: Chiefs 28, Jets 19

ATS Pick: Jets +9.5

Houston Texans (2-5) @ Los Angeles Chargers (0-7) I Line: Texans -4.5

The Texans are coming off their bye week at 2-5 and will take on the 0-7 Chargers.

At this point, I am done with the Chargers.

This has become such a bad operation, and I just do not see any reason to believe things are suddenly going to turn around this week.

Give me Houston to go into Los Angeles, get the win, and send the Chargers to 0-8.

Score Prediction: Texans 24, Chargers 13

ATS Pick: Texans -4.5

Arizona Cardinals (3-5) @ Seattle Seahawks (4-4) I Line: Seahawks -8.5

The Seahawks will be without Sam Darnold this week as he deals with a quad injury. And honestly, I would not completely rule out the possibility that this could be at least partially a soft benching.

We saw Drew Lock earlier in the season, back in Week 2 against the Cardinals, when he filled in for Darnold on the road. I liked what he was able to do then, and I think he can repeat some of that success this week at home.

There is apparently an elbow issue with Lock, but it does not sound serious. Otherwise, Seattle probably would not have committed to him starting this week.

Assuming Lock is able to play, I like Seattle to bounce back from its Monday night performance and get the win.

Score Prediction: Seahawks 24, Cardinals 14

ATS Pick: Seahawks -8.5

Green Bay Packers (5-3) @ New England Patriots (5-3) I Line: Patriots -2.5

This is probably the game of the day.

I like Green Bay to go on the road and pull off the upset.

The Packers have had extra time to prepare for this game, and while their running game may struggle against New England's strong run defense, Jordan Love is sneakily playing some really good football right now.

Green Bay's defense has also turned a corner.

The Packers have the rest advantage, they are comfortable playing in cold weather, and I like their weapons slightly more than New England's.

Drake Maye is playing well right now, but we have seen him struggle against better teams, and Green Bay is playing like one of those better teams at the moment.

Give me the Packers to go into New England and pull off the upset.

Score Prediction: Packers 22, Patriots 21

ATS Pick: Packers +2.5

Las Vegas Raiders (4-4) @ San Francisco 49ers (6-1) I Line: 49ers -9.5

The 49ers are coming off their bye week, and I like them big in this one.

San Francisco should be well rested, and I expect its offense to put up plenty of points against the Raiders.

Score Prediction: 49ers 34, Raiders 20

ATS Pick: 49ers -9.5

Sunday Night Football: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5) @ Chicago Bears (6-2) I Line: Bears -6.5

Sunday Night Football features a very interesting matchup between the Bears and Buccaneers.

I am going to be honest: I think Baker Mayfield is going to have to complete at least one pass this week, which would already be an improvement after last week's unusual performance. Somehow, the Buccaneers still found a way to win.

Chicago's offense, meanwhile, has been absolutely electric. Tampa Bay's defense has also been playing good football, so this should be an interesting matchup.

I could see the Bears experiencing a bit of an emotional letdown after such a huge road win against the defending champions on Monday night.

Even so, I think Chicago finds a way to pull this one out late and gets the win at home.

Score Prediction: Bears 24, Buccaneers 20

ATS Pick: Buccaneers +6.5

Monday Night Football: Buffalo Bills (6-1) @ Minnesota Vikings (6-1) I Line: Bills -3.5

It does not sound like Kyler Murray will be playing as he deals with hamstring tightness, which means Carson Wentz is expected to start for Minnesota.

The matchup I am most excited to watch is Brian Flores and the Vikings' defense going up against Josh Allen. From a quarterback-versus-coordinator perspective, it is one of the best matchups of the year.

However, Josh Allen is simply playing at a different level right now.

Minnesota's defense should make things difficult and keep this interesting, but I trust Allen and the Bills to go on the road and get the win.

Score Prediction: Bills 24, Vikings 18

ATS Pick: Bills -3.5
